Harm Reduction in EUP

Harm Reduction is a non-judgmental, person focused approach to reducing injury or harm to persons with substance or opioid use disorder.  Programs increase linkage to services, healthcare, and peer recovery coaching through a personalized plan.  Harm Reduction is often a person’s first step towards recovery.  Research has shown Harm Reduction participants are 5 times more likely to enter into substance use treatment than non-participants and 3 times more likely to stop using drugs.
