Do you know how to help someone who has overdosed on opioids?

Families Against Narcotics (FAN) offers a free virtual/online class that will provide the knowledge and confidence you need to potentially save a life during an opioid overdose emergency.

During this 60-minute interactive class, presented by a qualified instructor from FAN, you will learn:

How to recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose.
How to administer Narcan (naloxone) nasal spray to potentially reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.
Other knowledge needed to fully respond to an opioid overdose emergency.
In order to access the online class, you will need:

A desktop, laptop, or tablet computer equipped with a camera, microphone, and speakers.
Zoom video meetings conferencing software, which can be downloaded for free.
Registration will be confirmed via an email, which will contain course log-in instructions for Zoom and required forms.

NOTE: Registration closes 1 hour before the session’s scheduled starting time.

*Upon completion of the class, a free Narcan kit will be mailed to attendees.*
